Still negatively affecting portions of RuneScape

Posted By wang MMOruki     October 16, 2020

The challenge for RuneScape gold us is that despite all our programmes and best intentions the challenge remains enormous and, most annoyingly, nevertheless adversely impacting parts of our game. We're continuing to combat bots on all fronts. In a bid to be open and transparent we wish to discuss a few steps and initiatives we are about to release/have released recently: We have recently enhanced our internal systems to have the ability to spot spam in the chat window and instantly mute the offender preventing the constant stream of communication from the golden farmers which are impacting the game experience. Your reports are very beneficial to us here!

Mandatory email validation for new accounts will include extra account security and impair the volume accounts creation that golden farmers utilize. There are several different initiatives and actions that we intend to implement during the next few weeks and we will share these with you as often and in much detail as we can. The most important of these is to come shortly. Also, we recognise that we haven't been the best at conveying what we're doing and that changes today.

While we are winning small battles by spending substantial money and resources in trying to combat this issue, the war is not going in our favour as we are struggling to keep up with companies whose sole business 24 hours a day 7 days per week is to discover methods to acquire robots to the game. As a result, 1 thing has gotten really clear to us despite our continuing efforts.

We cannot win this battle alone. We need your help. Just how can you help? First, we'd love to hear from you at a more coordinated way regarding your ideas about how to fight the robots difficulty. We'll be developing polls to help us know more about bots directly from you... we would really like to hear your reply. We'd like to set up a special forum where we could have targeted Q&A's and receive formal feedback from you about specific endeavors. We will let you know when this forum is setup and encourage you to join us.

We hope that you will engage with and invite your friends to use any tools that we supply to you that will help us identify and prohibit the bots like the Spam Filter attribute. And lastly, we'd ask that you refrain from using bots or behind gold farmers. If there isn't a market, then bots will not exist. As was so eloquently put in a current article on"Position around Jagex [by voicing one's opinion on the botting issue], an individual could argue, requires a certain amount of guts, but much more is needed to endure to your friends". The player went on to state "The community should stand up for itself by simply following the principles and shunning those who do not. Lacking clients, the websites that place up the bots will shut, and the only botter will function as isolated real player. Ultimately, after the three columns of this code of behaviour that Jagex setup -"Honour,""Respect," and"Security" are a duty of the players and rs 3 gold the community as far as they're of Jagex."
