Episode 5 Debuts New Classes, Higher Level Cap

Posted By best Ding     May 27

For an eight-year-old MMO, there are some surprising innovations to PSO2 Meseta combat, however. While developers like Bungie and Gearbox are constantly patching out"loot caves" to prevent players from denying that the mill, PSO2 turns it into a strangely persuasive minigame. Parties who manage to kill enough monsters in a specific area quickly enough can activate a unique event that triggers more creatures to spawn rapidly and raise the probability of them falling rare loot. If the party will continue to kill these respawning monsters in a quick enough pace--it is not easy--the time limit on the event is extended. It encourages players to work collectively, with the reward being an infinite torrent of monsters to kill and loot to scoop up. One time I had a celebration that pulled out this for an exhilarating 15 minutes. It was like looter shooter nirvana.Phantasy Star Online 2: Episode 5 Debuts New Classes, Higher Level Cap

The wait is over for Phantasy Star Online 2's Episode 5. There's a new story, updated features and even a new class to enjoy. Episode 5 looks like a significant departure from Episode 4, since there are a lot of new items to encounter and a new, high level cap of 90 to reach. Here's what to get excited about in PSO2 Episode 5, and why to come back if you're tired of fighting a boat. The first Scion Class, Hero, is here. Unlike regular classes, there are prerequisites to unlock Scions, plus they tend to play differently. To perform Hero, you should get any two level 75 classes before talking to Cofy to unlock it.

Hero plays quite differently from what we've seen previously. It cannot be used as a Sub Course nor possess one, therefore playing it means just using Hero. It does have quite an arsenal, though, having the ability to use Swords, Twin Machine Guns and Talis efficiently. You may stick to one of the weapons of your choice, but the Class excels when combining all three into devastating combos. Since its a new class, there'll also be a brand new Hero character to give you a hand and give you new quests to practice with. A new skill has been added; however, it takes you to play through the story to unlock any of these. Dark Blast allows players to become one of four Dark Falz, such as Hyunal or even Angel, equipped with exceptional, powerful strikes and buffs for a limited time. It's kind of like a Photon Blast, however much more impressive since you take on another form. These forms can be leveled up simply by using them, and points may be spent to boost each form's abilities.

Episode 5 renders Earth behind and contributes to the ARKS world class. An anomaly happens, and you find yourself in a new world named Omega located in a dark hole using new and old characters battling corruption once again. Omega is designed with dream in mind. There are dragons, castles, siege-like quests and kingdoms all surrounded by something they call magic, but gamers will realize as photons. It seems like another detour from the first three Episodes, but it comes back around to buy Phantasy Star Online 2 Meseta events with Oracle, and a lot of the lore is explained. Just make your way through the narrative to discover.
